Are your travel-planning services really complimentary?

Yes. Solara Journey Co. does not charge clients separately for consultation, planning, or booking assistance.
What will I have to pay for?

You are responsible for the actual cost of your vacation. Depending on your trip, that may include cruise fares, accommodations, flights, excursions, transportation, travel insurance, taxes, and other travel expenses. Any required supplier deposits or final payments follow the applicable travel supplier’s policies.
Are supplier deposits the same thing as a planning charge?

No. If a cruise line, resort, hotel, or tour operator requires a deposit to reserve your trip, that money applies to your travel reservation. It is not a charge from Solara Journey Co. for consultation or planning.
Why work with a travel advisor?

Instead of sorting through countless travel options alone, you’ll have someone helping you compare choices, coordinate details, manage reservations, answer questions, and support you throughout the planning process.
Do you offer payment plans?

Many cruises and resorts allow scheduled payments toward the actual vacation cost before a final payment date. I’ll help keep the supplier’s schedule clear for you.

Can you book resorts?

Can you help with passports?

Yes. I can guide you through new applications, renewals, and timing so paperwork does not hold you back.
Can you book flights?

I primarily arrange flights as part of a vacation package. Standalone airfare-only bookings are considered case by case.
Can you arrange airport transfers?

Can you plan excursions?

When should I begin planning my vacation?

It depends on the trip. Cruises are often best planned 6–12 months ahead, while honeymoons, destination weddings, groups, and complex international travel may benefit from starting 9–18 months in advance. If your trip is sooner, reach out and I’ll help determine what is still available.
